Important Notice: All projects should be discussed with a licensed engineer to determine the placement and number of snow rails needed for your project. The above example is a general guideline. Due to the number of variations for each project, including snow loads for specific areas, you need to speak to a licensed engineer to ensure proper installation of the product.

Hardy Rib Snow Rail

The rails were well packed with the provided fasteners and were delivered promptly and undamaged. FYI: The rail sections are 48" long so make sure to plan for your specific application. I installed them on a standing seam roof so I had to overlap and rivet the joints offset from the rib anchor screws. This used more rail material than I had initially planned (my fault not a part issue). I also used butyl tape between the snow rail and roof rib to provide additional leak protection at the screw connection.
